Review of Basket by Haba

Great picnic basket!!

I purchased this item to help replace plastic play foods that have been pretty much destroyed (chewed on,etc) by two little children (ages 23 months and 3 1/2) in our play kitchen/grocery store/picnics. I truly believe these foods will last much longer (possibly to grandchildren??) then the plastic foods did. I LOVE the quality and feel of the foods and it is so nice not to have to worry about lead or plastic issues that have surfaced in the world with this product – I wish I would have bought wood foods to begin with!! The basket is super cute too, and my children enjoy “packing” it up to go on a “picnic” with – however, I don’t think the basket itself will hold up as well as the food will. The basket and food are both a lot smaller then I expected, however, it is truly a nice size for little hands. I would recommend any of this manufactures’ wood play foods—they are truly of exceptional quality!! :)
