wonderful parking garage

This is simply the greatest parking garage ever! My 18 month old loves the ramps and the elevator, which he can (sort of) crank up/down himself. It is a great scale, and the little extras like the car wash and the parking attendant are wonderful and realistic elements. The little car that comes with it is great, but I recommend getting some additional cars/trucks from Plan. You’ll be glad you did!

LOVE this toy!

Plan toys is a wonderful, very “green” company that makes solid, well-crafted toys, and this garage is certainly no exception. I feel safe that my sons are playing with a toy that is guaranteed to be painted with toxin-free paint, made out of chemical-free wood, etc. (Even the brochures Plan includes with their toys are printed with soy ink…very green indeed!)
The toy itself is well-crafted, as are all of the toys from PlanCity that we have. The cars glide, rather than roll on the “roads” of this garage: so well-engineered. They can go into the little elevator from either side, and once the arms are closed to keep them from rolling out, you can turn the knob at the top of the garage to raise or lower the elevator. The inner workings of the elevator consist of a hook or two and a small string! No batteries, no parts to break – brilliant! (Once assembled, children cannot access the string or hooks.) There are no rough spots, sharp pieces, etc. My 4 year old LOVES the Plan vehicles, and this garage from the “PlanCity” line is a great accessory to those vehicles. He gets a lot of use out of this set, and doesn’t show signs of growing out of it anytime soon. Highly recommend.
