Likes this MORE than the pacifier!

I bought this as an alternative to the plastic clips that are made in China. My 8 month old daughter loved the caterpillar face and she loved to chew on his little “antennas”. The only thing I am a little sad about is that after all this rigorous chewing, the painted face of the caterpillar is starting to rub off.

also clip toys

I use this to clip small toys (which must have a handle through which to feed the elastic end loop) onto the car seat strap pads, so the toys don’t fall on the floor or get thrown on the floor when interest wanes. My now 9 month old is able to pull it off with some effort though. I thought he might be fascinated with the colors but he is actually more fascinated with the green and blue dotted tra-la-la wooden clip (purchased separately) for some reason. I suppose this caterpillar chain would function perfectly if used for its designed purpose: to hold a pacifier. The clip (under the caterpillar head) is not a simple pinch type clip. The head must be flipped back and then pinched before it will release, so for a younger child, it would be very difficult to remove. (The only reason my 9 month old can remove it is by forcefully yanking it off.)
