Versatile set

This is the food set that started off my son’s play kitchen. I bought it to test the waters and see if he would really be interested before spending big bucks on a kitchen centre.

Turns out that he loved the breakfast set! His favourite parts are the hard boiled egg (wish it was available separately too) and the salt & pepper shakers. The S&P shakers make a soft rattling sound when shaken. My son even “uses” the salt shaker on his popcorn. Too cute!!

In addition to being a breakfast set it can also be used to make sandwiches or toast and (felt) jam. The serving tray comes in handy too. I agree that the bacon and sausage are on the plain side but all in all it’s a wonderful set.

Really really cute!!

My 2 yr old returns to play food again and again and she’s especially fascinated with eggs and breakfast items. It’s hilarious watching her with her food and tray.. hours of fun for both of us. All Plan Toys are exceptional in my opinion.

Love this set!

This set is so cute and imaginative! The hardboiled egg opens, revealing the yolk inside, and the salt and pepper make a soft rattle when you shake them. Two negatives: The bacon is rather plain, no stripes or texture, so it isn’t very realistic. Also, in my set, it was more orange than brown. The sausage, while cute, is thin and looks like it could be a choking hazard for younger kids. The set is still very cute though.
