This unique baby toy teaches babies about the life cycle of a caterpillar. Baby can hold the caterpillar in their hand. You can wrap the caterpillar with the fabric to form the cocoon stage, unbutton the fabric and insert it through the hole and it turns in a “Chrysalis” or a “butterfly”.

Made of natural, chemical free recycled rubberwood and finished with non-toxic water based dye. Cocoon/wings made of fabric.

yet another great plan toy

we have a snail pull-toy from plan toys that continues to entertain our three-year-old. this caterpillar is for our new daughter. she is too young to play with it, but her dad and i have already had fun with it … taking it from caterpillar to pupa to butterfly … it’s a simply designed toy that maximizes interaction and imagination.
