Sweet Little Bear

I bought this as a gift, and accidentally ordered two. Fine, I thought, I’ll just give the extra to my kids. This bear is indeed sweet. He’s well-crafted, and a little bigger than I expected (listed dimensions just don’t give the full picture, you know?), which is always a plus. His weight is pleasant, as is his smooth unfinished surface. He seems like he could take some rough play and come through unscathed. I love him.

My kids? Not so much. My youngest (18 months) likes to take him out of the box, and then put him back in about five times over. My oldest likes to throw him once or twice in a blue moon.

I was excited because he’s safe to chew on, but no one seems to be biting (pardon the pun). The kids just don’t like him. Maybe other kids are different. We’ve had other simple toys that have really been a hit. Poor teddy…. Well, I love him even if the target age group doesn’t.

We love Teddy and Plan Toys but...

I love this toy and the way my son plays with it, and I love Plan Toys, their safty standards and beautiful craftsmenship, but we had to exchange our Teddy twice because of odd woodgrains/faceprinting locations. I am guessing we may have just gotten unlucky we have several Plan Toys and we love Kangarooboo. On the upside we received some of the best customer service I have ever experienced from both Plan Toys and Kangarooboo. Honestly while the whole experience was a little frustrating, it really only made me more confident in purchasing anything from Kangarooboo and Plan Toys. I did rate 4 stars because of the blemish, but that was the only reason. We love and highly recommend this wonderful toy.
