Mushroom kaleidoscope disappointing
written about 4 years agoI am in favor of simplicity, but in my opinion this item was too simple and over-priced. The “kaleidoscope” function was merely faceted glass that produces a fractured image when you look through it with no colors or pretty shapes like a real kaleidoscope produces. The mushroom is also very small.

written over 4 years agoWhat a cute way to add “kaleidoscope” to your toddler’s vocabulary! We use it to play I spy, and describe the view through the kaleidoscope. AND, it doubles as pretend food when we’re doing kitchen play.
Works okay, cute design
written over 4 years agoI like the artistic design of this item, but not the functionality. Even for my toddler it was a little too small to get a good grip on and rotate. It is not a kaleidoscope in the sense of having beads or glass inside that makes pictures as you turn. It is just a refracting plastic screen that makes whatever you look at through it into multiple images of that item. I would have liked it to be a little larger and have a true kaleidoscope design.
Cool basic toy
written over 4 years agoThis is a cool kaleidoscope that is a very well made. Just a note that the very center is not faceted only the edges are. It was larger than I expected so that was a nice surprise.
