Banjo
This banjo is the perfect first string musical instrument. Children can use their fingers to strum the different cords and create different sounds. Kids can get creative by tapping or drumming on the banjo head (red round surface) which does make a fabulous drum like sound!
A great way to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Made of natural, chemical free recycled rubberwood and finished with non-toxic water based dye. The red banjo head is made of natural latex.
Care: It is the distinctive character of natural latex to form white stains in certain humidity and temperature. To clear it, gently wipe it away with a damp cloth (water only).

Cute but not an instrument
written about 1 month agoWe got this so my husband could pretend to play the banjo with the baby. However, You cannot make different sounds on the strings (meaning you can’t actually play this, all the strings play the same pitch). Thus, it’s an adorable toy, but not if you’re trying to help the child learn music.
