Nice sound, sturdy

written over 1 year ago

This is a really nice drum, better than other plastic ones we’ve gotten that didn’t last long. It also makes a pleasant sound that won’t drive you crazy. A must have for your playroom band! While I wouldn’t recommend testing it yourself, it has held up to being dropped a couple times on hardwood floors(didn’t crack)!

Great drum, not annoying

written over 1 year ago

My kids (2 & 4) love playing with this drum. It has a nice sound without being too annoying. They quickly learned to hit different spots to hear different sounds. My 4 yr. old even brought it for “show-n-share” at school when they were asked to bring something that moves because he learned that sound moves in waves. Great introduction to music without turning off parents in the meantime.

I absolutely LOVE this drum and so does my little one! She could play with it all day long! It has a really nice sound and she can hit 3 different octaves. She also enjoys teething on the mallet! It is definitely a MUST-HAVE!!! :)

Very good toy with lovely sound

written over 4 years ago

This drum is beautifully made and has a lovely sound. I love that the tone is completely different based on where you strike. My son likes experimenting with the different sounds it makes. The drum is very sturdy and holds up well.

fun and sturdy...

written over 4 years ago

We love musical instruments in our house, and this first drum is durable and fun for him. He has a tendency to use the mallet as a teether when we’re not making music, but when we all sit together he drums like a champ.

Awesome sound!

written over 4 years ago

This drum is very cool. It has 3 different sounds, and my 16 month old is very entertained by it. It also sits on well secured rubber pieces so that it doesn’t shift during play, or when he stands on it-not it’s recommended use of course, he tries to stand on everything! All Plan Toys I have purchased so far are great, great company that protects our kids and the environment.

I love this drum!

written almost 5 years ago

I love Plan toys. This drum is excellent in that it teaches about sound and it just fun! My husband told me I had to buy a drum for my son and this is truly one that will last a long time. I didn’t want to buy one of those plastic ones because of all the chemicals in them. I feel much safer knowing that this is made of wood since my son tends to put everything in his mouth.
