Really cute, but tiny!
written 12 months agoI just ordered this stew set, and while I LOVE the concept, I agree with the other review that the pieces are tiny. I also ordered for a four-year-old for her stocking, but I have a two-year-old and a newborn. I’m really worried about choking issues with the smaller ones around. Many kitchen items are fine with the toddlers, but this set seems to be a little too small. I love the wooden pieces, but I’m going to hold it back for awhile.

written 12 months agoI love these little Haba play foods, their texture is so pleasingly smooth. They’re candy to the eyes, but they all are quite small. That said, I ordered this to put in my 4-year old’s stocking this year, but think I will hold back. The peas in this set – their size and shape just scream choking hazard to me. And I think my four-year old is smart enough to know better, but I think to be safe I’d recommend reserving these for an older child – 6 or 8 maybe? – who really understands the repercussions of seeing how something like this feels inside the mouth.
