Delightful little toy

This very simple but ingenious toy surprised me. Babies can play with the balls which is always nice. They can roll the little base. And then, once they grasp how it works, they can move the entire turtle by rolling the ball forward or backwards with the tips of their fingers. I like that there are 3 – facilitates “racing”

Very Cool Little Turtles

These little turtles consist of a base with a perfectly smooth ball that can be removed and played with separately, or set atop the turtles and spun backward to make the turtle go flying forward.

We bought these for our daughter’s first birthday. While she is definitely too young to roll the turtles, she loves the little balls. They are just perfect for her hands and such a satisfying weight and smooth texture!

We know that eventually the turtles will catch on, and she and her older sister can race them.

All in all, a great and versatile toy. Well-made and worth buying!

Love Haba and love these turtles!

Time and again, Haba has shown itself to be such a wonderful brand. Their products are always durable, non-toxic, and beloved by my baby boy. These rolling turtles are no exception. While my son hasn’t quite grasped the rolling concept at ten months of age, he loves to pluck the balls up and play with them. And he loves to go for the separate turtle bodies too. He also enjoys watching my husband and I race the turtles. I think he will figure out how to move the turtles with the balls on top of their bodies as he gets a little older- I believe that the turtles are designed for 18 months+ afterall.
As a mom, I will just say that I love the quality of these toys and it also is great that you can switch the color of ball on top of the turtles- a nice bit of variety.

I wouldn't recommend

I would not recommend this turtles – I do not see the point for spending this money and there is nothing special. They are not interesting to play with. The top portion comes off and since they are wooden the balls are very heavy when dropped to the floor

Exactly as advertised!

These little turtles are so much fun, and they come apart so they double as push car and baaa (ball!). They are well made and durable. I have several Vilac products and only one of them was a dud. My toys arrived quickly and were well packaged. Yay!!

perfect for the wheels-lover

We purchased these turtles for our son when he was 9mo. because he likes to play catch and is into anything with wheels. The balls on the top come off for him to toss, and the bases roll like little cars. He’s too young yet to figure out how to roll them with the ball on top, but that’s one reason he’ll be able to use this toy for a long time- and to rediscover its uses as he grows. Super fun!

These are cute!

These toys are great because the balls actually come off and can be played with separately. In order to move the turtles you roll the ball on the top. Very cute and it is a great teaching tool.
