I ordered this toy because it is listed in the “not made in China” category. It states on the website that it is made in Vietnam, but the box clearly states “Made in China” Disappointed
Cute little guy. I gave it as a present and I have heard it became her child’s favorite. Great colors and feel. I plan to get another for the little boy we are expecting soon.
You can’t beat this toy at this price! My now 9 month old loved this toy from the moment she saw it. The only down side is that she occasionally pinches a little finger in between the blocks; this never stops her from going back to play with it though!
My three month old loves primary colors! Alas her nursery that is soft pinks and greens and Amy Butler fabrics are not the colors she stares at and orients to! So I am slowly building a collection of brightly colored primary toys and this was one of the first ones I bought. I keep it in a circle for her and she has begun to teethe on it as well. As her motor skill develops (sometimes she flails a little) I will uncoil it to the question mark and eventually to the snake stage and then teach her to twist and turn it. Right now it instantly gets her attention and she reaches for it whenever I offer it!
My son has a bad habit of flailing this around and hitting people or himself with it unintentionally. I like that is is wood and not plastic but it is pretty dense. Maybe he is still too young for it at 9 months, but it doesn’t hold his attention much at all.
I bought this caterpillar grasping toy as a gift for my six month old niece and think it is just the cutest little thing! I love the bright attractive colors, the cute little face, and the way the caterpillar moves.
I actually bought this to represent a “snake” for my two young children (ages 23 months and 3 1/2 years old) because I didn’t want to purchase a rubber or plastic one and he is not nearly as scary as a real snake. Even though this toy is set for a 6+ months old, both of my slightly older children LOVE this little guy!! He is very easy to maneuver and the colors are Great!!! They both love to twist it and try to “scare” or chase Mama around with it – we have had great fun with this little guy!! Plus he’s not very big – just right for little hands. I highly recommend as this is a toy that is not just for “babies” as your child can grow with it.
I bought this toy for my daughter when she was around 6 months old, and she still loves it at nearly 11 months. She likes chewing on it when she is teething. She also gets a kick out of changing the shape of the caterpillar. Very easy for little hands to maneuver. One of our favorite toys!
