Cute and Clever Grasping Toy
written over 2 years agoWe thought this little worm would be a perfect grasping toy for our 8-month-old baby who is advancing with regard to grasping and manipulating items with her hands. However, we have found that there are several other grasping toys that she much prefers over this one. It is cute, well-made and very reasonably priced, and it appears that it will last a long time. Perhaps it is better suited for a slightly older baby.

written over 2 years agoMy 7 month old daughter LOVES this toy! It’s very well made and lots of fun for little ones… she loves twisting it around and of course chewing on it! I like how well made it is and that paint and coloring do not chip off since it’s in her mouth alot!
FUN FOR A FEW MINUTES!
written over 4 years agoAt first this toy really seemed to catch my daughter’s attention. She kept trying to make the snake move into different positions. Too bad it lasted just a few minutes. Now, after two months ( I thought she would be more into it when she got a little older) she dosen’t even want to look at it. Oh, well it was fun while it lasted!
Only okay- get the Melissa and Doug caterpillar instead
written over 4 years agoI had really wanted this toy for my son ever since I saw it in a toy store before he was born and held back from buying it. So I really was looking forward to getting it when I ordered it from KangarooBoo. Wrong! The pieces are a little too chunky for my son’s hands. It manipulates almost too fluidly, with the worm wiggling too readily to hold the positions you might move it into. Worst of all is the fact that the worm arrived with its paint already cracking before I ever even took it out of the box! I still gave it to my son, but I watch him closely with it due to this concern. I have heard other parents say that certain Melissa and Doug products have this paint problem, and this toy seems to fall into that category. For my money, I would recommend getting the Melissa and Doug caterpillar instead. The pieces are a better size for a baby’s hands and I like the way that toy maniuplates better. Most of all, the paint on it has not cracked! My son really seems to like that toy a lot too. Skip the worm toy and get the caterpillar instead!

written almost 5 years agoThis toy has the same great quality as other Melissa & Doug toys. It is a nice size and a reasonable price. My 6 month old loves this toy. It is well built. I don’t have any complaints about this toy

written almost 5 years agoEasy to twist, has a stretchy like string in it, keeps her hands busy for a bit which is all we can ask for! Nice color combo too.
