About Maple Landmark
Mike Rainville started working with wood as a young child as a hobby, making wooden toys selling to friends and neighbors. Long before turning 18, Mike had already established his first wholesale relationship. Now nearly 3 decades later, the company has expanded to be a landmark of its own kind. Maple Landmark strive to purchasing everything they use “locally” (in the USA) and they succeed to the point that only about 1% of their budget goes to purchase foreign-sourced items.
Made in Vermont, USA.
We like this track. It adds a lot of interest to our railroad set-ups. We have a little motorized Thomas and if we set a curved track up to the crossover, he automatically switches over. He does occasionally get caught up on the center, which will cause him to fall over, but my son thinks it’s hilarious when it happens. There are also straight tracks cut into the piece, so it gives some options on which way to go.
