this colorful, washable and soft book is a nice addition to baby’s “library”. my 6 month old daughter really likes to chew on it and the pages are easy for her to turn. i have machine washed it several times and it holds up quite well. (i accidentally put it in the dryer once and surprisingly, it is none the worse for wear.) the drawings of tiny town are creative
- i wish it had a few more pages and although it is a good size for traveling, it would be nice if it was a few inches larger.
The reason I gave this book a three out of five is because there is no writing in it! I have very little imagination to make up a story to go along with the pictures.
My daughter loved this toy during car rides. The fabric was so much softer than other cloth books, which was nice. it was lost in a parking lot recently and will have to be replaced as it was a favorite.
I bought this book for my then 4 month old son. While he likes the book, he prefers the other Haba book that has a crinkly page and squeaker inside. My favorite part about this book is that it attaches (to a carseat / stroller etc…) so that it is not easily lost during travels. This book is indeed soft, manageable size for little hands and has withstood machine washing (even though it is suggested to wash by hand).
I got this book for my daughter when she was a few months old, but she really started to play with it around 6 months. She looks through the book now and enjoys trying to pull out the little figure in the pocket on the front cover. I’ve machined washed several times and it has held up perfectly.
