I have three “tree trunk” toddlers, so we are always on the look-out for durable, sturdy, well-made toys that they can’t destroy in the first 5 minutes of play. I love that my littlest guy can pull up on this without tipping it over, and he can run along the floor with it without leaving scuff marks on the floor. I concur with the previous reviewer, though; this car has 0% turning ability, so since my 13-month-old is still too small to figure out how to wield it around, I have to turn it for him at every end of the room, or I’m met with shrieks. So that’s the reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. Still, having children close in age, it’s a fun car because the seat is big enough for a child to sit in, so they can actually push each other. It doubles as a wagon!

Solid and sturdy

My daughter received this from her grandmother on her first Christmas, and it was really fantastic for a very unsturdy new walker toddling along the house. The car is very heavy and solid, so there was no way she could push it too fast or have it get away from her, preventing spills and falls that are common with other walkers. There’s so much room in the two compartments of the car too, so she loved filling it up with her stuffed animals and toys, and walking them around the house. My only complaint (and it’s a small one) is that the car does not have any turning ability, it only goes back and forth in straight lines. The back of the car needs to be lifted off the ground and manually turned in order to change directions, and even now at 3 my daughter still needs an adult to help her with that. It’s not a big deal, and I’m pretty sure it’s designed that way for safety. The car is great and we love it, it’s still in her room holding her blocks and some of her favorite animals.
