We're sorry but this item is no longer available.

Chan Pie Gnon comes from the French word champignon, which means mushroom.

Teething can be a frustrating time for many babies, and their parents. To relieve sore gums and calm the child, it helps for them to bite into something. A refrigerated teething ring eases the pain because it temporarily reduces blood flow in the gums.

Thanks to this soother with Gnon’s picture on (one of the Chan Pie Gnon family’s brother), baby teethes without pain… The ring is filled with sterilized water and can be placed in the refrigerator. The cold soothes the pain of teething. Light and easy to grip thanks to its ring shape so baby’s hand does not get too cold!

To clean, wipe with warm damp cloth. BPA free.

Not what I thought

written about 2 years ago

I purchased this for my then 4 1/2 month old son, as he’s gumming everything in sight. I like the clear ring part. However, I thought the green part would be made of the same material. It’s not. Instead, it’s a hard plastic material that snaps together, leaving a small gap. I’m afraid my baby will cut his gums, so I’m not letting him have this toy. It would be better if the green part of the teether is made of the same material as the ring part.

Got some use

My little guy seemed to like holding onto the cold part more than teething on it. This friendly toy was always picked up though and admired, though not used correctly. I bet it was just my little guys preference though.

Cute teether, but plastic a bit too hard

written over 2 years ago

Very cute and unique teether, love that it is BPA free. Clear plastic is a bit hard on teething gums, would have given 5 stars except for that. Easy for baby to grab onto, and with loop it can be secured to a car seat, stroller, etc. Very durable and easy to clean.

not the best

written over 2 years ago

I wish I hadn’t bought this teether. It is just too big for my son to be able to use it. When he first started teething, it was almost as long as his arm. Even now as a very big 8 month old, it’s not as easy for him to manipulate as his other teethers. Maybe it’s better for toddlers, but I wouldn’t recommend it for babies.

Nice teether.

written over 2 years ago

My son likes this. It was one of the first teethers he was able to hold on to well. The actual teether part (clear) is a little harder than other teethers and sometimes he ends up chewing on the handle and I don’t want him to hurt his little gums.

not bad...

written almost 3 years ago

I bought this for my son when he was 5 months old. He sort of liked it, especially when it was warm (I would let it sit in hot water for a few minutes). However, it wasn’t a huge hit. Teething is such a hit-or-miss thing, though, so I’d still recommend it to friends. I like the handle on it.

Undecided

written almost 3 years ago

I was excited to try out this teether after reading the reviews. We own Sophie and my 4 month old adores her. He stares at her for a few seconds and has a little conversation and then tries to eat her – she’s great! I thought that this as it’s made by the same company would be constructed of similar material. I was disappointed to find that the ring is a hard plastic (I had imagined it to be a soft plastic similar to Sophie). He doesn’t seem that interested in grasping onto the hard plastic. We’ll try again of course, but initially I am disappointed.

A Real Treat!

written about 3 years ago

I pull this out of the freezer just in the nick of time, when my 7 month old is bored with his remaining toy. It’s always a surprise when I give it to him, as if it’s the first time…it’s really cute to give him a cold treat/toy. Though he really just licks on it, it’s a great toy. I highly recommend it.

it's always in her mouth!

this is the perfect size and shape, apparently, for our daughter to grab and chew. she’s not even teething yet and loves putting it in her mouth so I am certain it will come in handy when that time arrives too

great for teethers

This is such a cute and unique item. My niece simply adores this. She’s just happy holding the handle, chewing on the gel ring to sooth her teething gums, and occasionally waving it around, LOL!
