The wooden pieces have rounded corners and are strung together by a sturdy elastic band. By twisting and turning the triangles, Trix can be manipulated in many ways to create various fun shapes. Trix can also be safely used as a teething ring.

Multiple coats of natural, water-based, non-toxic lacquers render the surface especially resistant to humidity and mechanical strain. A quality toy crafted to withstand years or even generations of play. Made of beech wood.

Great!

written 9 months ago

This was bought for my daughter from a friend. I love how this is colorful and built with good quality. This is good for a boy or a girl. It moves well and I love how the wood is stained rather than painted. And of course that it is child safe.

Fun for infants and toddlers

written 10 months ago

I have one of these tied around the strap of my daughter’s car seat, and she’s had it since infancy. Back then she used it as a teether toy, mostly, but now that she’s a toddler, she plays around with it and manipulates it into different shapes and names the colors. The only bad thing about this toy is that ink comes off some of the triangles—I remember being shocked when my daughter, as a baby, ended up with a yellow lip.

Fantastic for hand dexterity!

written 10 months ago

This is a great toy for babies who are already using their grasp techniques. Not only are the bright colors stimulating, but the smooth surface seems to be a comforting teether! The action of manipulating the triangles makes for a great problem solving activity. Fun!!

Great-looking toy!

written 12 months ago

My four-month old daughter loves this toy. I love the rainbow colors, and she has already figured out how to manipulate it. It’s easy to throw in the diaper bag and doesn’t make any noise= great toy in my book.

neat infant toy

written about 1 year ago

this was great fun for my son and I to play with. He loved to chew on it, and it was fun to manipulate it to make different shapes/combinations. A great teether/clutching toy. Well made/sturdy, so I never worried about the elastic breaking no matter how much he twisted the pieces about.

Baby boy loves it!

written over 1 year ago

I tested a bunch of Haba toys for the infant car seat carrier with my son. I thought the dragon one was the cutest, and of course he was least interested in that one. This was the one I thought was least interesting, but he LOVED it. I switch the shape from time to time to allow him something “different” to play with, he grasps and teethes with the toy.

I’m just proud that it’s not made in China and totally safe for him to “eat.”

easy to bring along

written almost 2 years ago

Not the most stimulating toy but my son is interested in it when I help him play with it – pulling it in/out and making it change shapes. He doesn’t use it much as a teether – more to hold and play with. It is small and very portable. Not sure if I would purchase it again—I like some of the other Haba toys more like Max.

i think my baby will enjoy this toy more when older. the fun comes with manipulating the connected triangles into different shapes. its still fun to chew on and high quality, its just for older babies and toddlers.

Color wheel for babies

written about 2 years ago

This is a wonderful little color wheel teether with triangles that baby can flip out (to form a star or other patterns) when she’s older. My baby doesn’t enjoy this as much as Haba’s Kringelring or Trio toys (which are more interactive with rings, bells or mirror parts) but it’s a great to have simple, safe teether with such stimulating colors.
