cutting exercise

I am really happy that they come up with this meat set ~ we already had set of vegetables and my three yrs old son loved cutting and playing with them. Very good for practicing motor skills.

Good variety of meats for the gourmet play kitchen

I agree with the other reviewer who commented that the scale is a bit off on these…The chicken leg and squarish thigh is just a bit weird in general, and the steaks are very small—could have been at least 50% larger and still completely appropriate. The fish and sausages and other pieces are nice. Be aware that the bologna disks are chokable, though—very small and easy to fit in the mouth. I wasn’t too thrilled with the anemic-looking lavender/purple sausage interior…just a bit of a strange color choice by Plan Toys. Overall, pretty cute set, though, and the quality and durability is excellent.

This was a great hit with the kids! They had already received the Plan Toys fruit and veggie cutting set and knew just what to do with this one. The variety and quality is excellent. My ONLY reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the scale is off. Compared to the fruit and veggie set, the meat set is about 1/2 to 2/3 as large (meaning it’s smaller then the fruits and veggies) and that just seems off when they’re made by the same company.
