this is a nice colorful picnic play mat, which is soft enough for little ones, yet sturdy and easy to clean and wash. i’ve machine-washed it under the gentle cycle and it was fine. we’ve used it both outside on a lawn and indoors on our carpet (just for fun) and they all worked great.
