Chan Pie Gnon comes from the French word champignon, which means mushroom. Chan (blue), Pie (pink), and Gnon (yellow) are adorably mushroom-shaped soft chew toys.

Blue Chan has a nub on top of his head, great for teething babies to chew and nibble. Soft, light, and easy to grasp, Chan is perfect for little hands and makes a happy sound when squeezed.

A close cousin to Sophie the Giraffe, Chan is also proudly handmade in the French Alps with the finest natural rubber (phthalate-free) and food quality paints.

To clean, simply wipe with a warm damp cloth. Do not immerse the teether in water.

loved this teether

written 16 days ago

My son loved this teether when he was teething and 5 & 7 months old (we’re in a teething lull right now). He would just squeeze and bite on it and had a great time playing with it. It was definitely a hit!

Love it!

written about 1 month ago

My son is a huge Sophie the Giraffe fan so I gave this a go and it’s just as popular. He uses the head like a pacifier (gee – I wonder why) and can make it squeak more easily than sophie. I love all the Vulli products!

Great for teething

written 2 months ago

I bought this for a friend’s baby shower and ordered the green one for my 10 month old son. He loves to chew on it now that he is teething and it makes a funny but not too loud noise.

Prefer Chan

written 3 months ago

My 7 month old loves Chan and always goes for him first, he definitely favors Chan more than Sophie. I recommend Chan, he’s made to be held and chewed on – naturally :) Sophie is only good for her legs to be chewed on (occasionally) and her retro look.

Favorite toy

written 4 months ago

My son loves this toy so much that he sleeps with it and squeezes it to sleep and when he wakes. He loves it so much that I bought six others to give away to friends. We love that it’s made of safe rubber and also very easy to clean. Highly recommended.

not that exciting

My son doesn’t care for Chan Pie that much. The squeaky noise is not very good either. In a bind he will play and chew on it for a sec,but better than any plastic chew toy – offers peace of mind.

THE BEST: TEETHER'S PARADISE

written 5 months ago

This is my son’s favorite toy and teether. It must be the nipple-like top knot and the soft (natural) rubber. It was a hit when we first introduced it at 4 months, and now, at 7 months, he still uses it a lot. He also loves the sound of the squeaker. They differ from one Chan to another, but ours is a deep throaty hoarse one, and it makes Baby laugh. We call hours “Ghosty”—doesn’t it look more like a ghost than a mushroom? We also recommend Sophie the Giraffe, but my son’s vote is for the Chan over Sophie!

Ok

written 5 months ago

Our son seems to like the noise this teether makes. He doesn’t like it as much as he likes Sophie the Giraffe. The material is soft and chewy and we love that it is made of natural rubber.

good

written 5 months ago

It’s a soft and airy toy. The paint looks funny, but that’s because it’s food-grade paint on natural rubber. My baby likes it because it lets out a little (let’s be honest) fart-like sound with the smallest squeeze, so even he can get the noise. Oddly, he puts everything else in his mouth, but not so much this toy.

Wonderful teether.

written 6 months ago

We bought this for our 5 month old daughter. We bought all three of the Chan Pie Gnons. They are easy for her to hold on to and she really like this one because of the knob on his head. She love to chew on it.
