This bright, happy sun warms with more than just his smile: a removable pouch of spelt (a species in the wheat family) can be put in the microwave to safely provide comfort. The spelt grains retain the heat and releases it gently/slowly.

It brings well-being and reassurance, soothes your little one’s stomachache, relieves cramps and stiff necks.

Made of cotton and wool, the Sun is Machine washable in the wool cycle with the spelt pouch removed.

For cuddly warmth: Please do not exceed the suggested temperature and time (danger of fire!).

To warm, take the cushion out of the cuddle animal. Do not heat up the cuddle animal!
In the oven (max. temp. 120˚F, 10 minutes at the very most).
In the microwave (thawing setting, max. time 2 minutes).

For agreeable coolness:

Put the cushion into a plastic bag and cool it in the ice compartment for 30-60 minutes.

The cushion must not be washed, but must always be kept dry and aired regularly.

This is a very unique toy. This is the only toy we bring to church because it is quiet and so cute. When our little girl is getting antsy she can “throw” it without causing a scene. I use the rays of the sun to tickle her face. We haven’t heated it yet, but I have accidentally washed it when I washed my husband’s church pants. Seems to be fine!

I really like this heat storing sun because of the bright colors. It will also be a good general toy as well. I only gave it a 4 star because it’s quite a bit smaller than what I thought it would be – it’s only a little bigger than the size of my hand.

Great comfort toy

My baby loved to stare at the happy colors and smiling face at only a few months. Now, at 5 months she likes to eat the petals and “cuddle” it. When she gets “gassy” I heat it and lay it on her tummy. The warmth seems to help expel gas pains. Beautiful and bright, and great lovey.

Adorable

My daughter loves the bright colors and big smile on this adorable little guy and I love the fact that it’s made with soft, organic cotton. We haven’t used the heated cherry stones yet but I like that this can be used both medicinally and as a toy.
