The pacifiers are very hygienic because they are molded in one piece. There is no joints or cracks where dirt and bacteria can accumulate. The pacifier shield is larger than conventional shields and is specifically designed to prevent babies from squeezing the flexible material together enough to get it into his or her mouth.

The pacifiers will darken and slightly change color during use. It is recommended to replace Natursutten pacifiers after 4-5 weeks of use or as needed. Before using it for the first time, boil it in water for 2 minutes. Clean after each use with warm water and mild liquid soap.
