Goblin Truck by Haba

This is a fun toy. My girls are too young to push and pull the train (9 mos.) But, they like all the pieces. They like to turn the wheels on the car. The three pieces of cargo (the rectangular pieces with the holes) are easy to grasp and manipulate. The only downside is that one of the three rectangular pieces seems to have splintered a bit. All of the HABA toys I have purchased have held up pretty well, so this is an exception.

My twins (8 mos.) have played with this toy for a couple months now. Initially, they held the car and looked at it from different angles. Now, they spin the wheels around when they hold it. You can “cut out” the little driver in this car, so that he is removable. Now they enjoy playing with the driver too. My only slight issue is the wear of the wood. The red paint of the “roof” has started to wear off onto the head of the driver after repeated use. Even though Plan Toys uses non toxic paints, it is still a little disconcerting to see the paint wearing off, especially since they still put this in their mouths.

The first teether that I received “wore out” very quickly. The “fin” of the fish started to wear around the seams such that small pieces of plastic frayed where the edges conjoined. KangarooBoo staff quickly responded and replaced it with another. So far, the second teether has been without issue.

Simple yet interesting to babies written almost 2 years ago
I did not have high expectations for this ring, but it has exceeded the ones I had. It looks fairly simple, so I did not think it would hold my babies’ attention. It has proven to be interesting to them (from 6 -8 mos.). They like to clack the rings together and have fun grasping and looking at it.

This frog is a favorite. My twins seemed to like the frog more as they got older and were better able to grasp and handle him (closer to 7 mos.) Now they chomp on him as a teether.
