Colors Puzzle Cards by Melissa & Doug
cute cards written over 4 years ago
I purchased these for my niece and she liked them. The age recommendations say 3+ but my niece just turned 2. We played with it together as more of a matching game and then I helped her put the actual pieces together.

good value written over 4 years ago
this was purchased for a charity so I didn’t get to see the product in use, but I have purchased numerous M&D products and across the board I have found that the toys are typically larger than expected and a great value for the price.

good for infant written over 4 years ago
I would agree with others this is better for an infant than toddler. The wood produces a lovely marimba-like sound as opposed to a true xylophone, and the notes are not in order, which would be confusing if you’re trying to teach an older child music. I’m using it more as an alternative to electronic toys and to introduce my son to the concept of using a tool (the mallet). But it’s not the kind of xylophone you can play a song on.

great for price! written over 4 years ago
I was so excited to receive this. My son is not quite ready for a “train set” on tracks, he is still learning to stack and sometimes still mouths toys. I don’t usually pay attention to dimensions and this was almost double the size I was expecting it to be, a great value! I think also it’s the kind of toy once you’re child outgrows, it will look great on display on a shelf in the nursery.

great design written over 4 years ago
I bought this to use for my son for fine motor therapy, he is still learning “put in/take out” I like several things-the simple design with just three shapes is not overwhelming for him. Great if your child is just starting to learn sorting/matching. Also, he has to push the lever down to get the shapes back out again, so really he’s learning two skills.
