Fish Castanet Red by Plan Toys

While the fish castenet is very cute, it’s pretty awkward to actually use. Even I have a hard time making noise with it, since it doesn’t fit comfortably in your hand, and doesn’t have any really good place to grip it. Smaller hands have a hard time figuring out how to make noise with it. Cute idea, poor execution.

The frog tambourine is not only cute, but it’s also well-crafted. It’s small (perfect for little hands), and it isn’t too noisy, either. Quiet enough to prevent headaches! My daughter loves this toy!

My daughter got this for her first birthday, and she loved it right away! The pigs squeak when you squeeze them, and they are one of her favorite toys. The houses are really neat, since they can nest inside each other for storage. She already likes to play with putting things inside them, and as she gets older we’ll be able to use them to tell the story (when she’ll sit still long enough for storytime)!
Dancing Alligator by Plan Toys

It took a little while for my daughter to figure out how to work this toy, but once she did figure it out, she really liked it. It makes a fun clacking noise, and I like the bright colors. Don’t expect your little one to be able to play with this straight out of the box, unless they’ve had pull toys before. It takes a bit of practice for them to learn how to play with it.

This is a great toy for teething! Plus, it makes a cute squeaky sound when it’s squeezed. Make sure you keep it away from your dogs, though! They’ll be just as interested as your little one…
