I bought this ages ago and stuck it in my “future gift box”. It finally made its way into my 2.5 year old’s Christmas stocking. It was an instant hit! The sound it makes is more like a duck call than a whistle. MUCH less annoying than most other noisemakers. When she plays with it, everyone ends up giggling, the sound is so funny.

My 4 year old son enjoys listening to this in the car. At home, he seems to get too distracted to really pay much attention. I enjoy listening to these classic tales with him. Tavia Gilbert does a good job at doing the different voices for the stories.

Great for in the car written about 3 years ago
My 4 year old son received the complete tales of Beatrix Potter for his birthday, so it’s been fun reading along in his book while listening to the CD. We also listen to this in the car. He seems to enjoy the “Gingerbread Boy and Other First Tales” CD a little better, maybe because the Beatrix Potter stories use more dated themes and prose?

I recently purchased this as a topper for a diaper cake that I made for a baby shower. It was just adorable and everyone commented on how cute it was. I was told that mom had made various pacifier holders for her other kids, just using ribbon. Now her new baby will have a toy and a paci holder in one! It was also a great way to introduce her to Haba. She had never heard of the brand and I’m simply in love with just about everything they make!

Jumping on the diaper pull bandwagon written about 3 years ago
After reading the previous reviewer’s use for this keychain, I decided to borrow her idea and do the same. I love this little guy! He really brightens up my boring black diaper bag. He’s also useful for entertaining my little one when nothing else is handy! I like how his middle sections can twist and turn. I find him fairly entertaining myself!
