Woodpecker Walker by Plan Toys
Gorgeous but not the safest written over 3 years ago
This is the most beautiful and ingenious walker I’ve seen. My daughter loves making the woodpeckers go clakkity-clack, and often she’ll sit in front of the walker and just play with the two birds. That said, the weight distribution of this toy makes it tip forward very easily, which happens especially when she’s playing with the woodpeckers. For this reason, I don’t buy this as a gift, even though my daughter enjoys it.

Fun for infants and toddlers written over 3 years ago
I have one of these tied around the strap of my daughter’s car seat, and she’s had it since infancy. Back then she used it as a teether toy, mostly, but now that she’s a toddler, she plays around with it and manipulates it into different shapes and names the colors. The only bad thing about this toy is that ink comes off some of the triangles—I remember being shocked when my daughter, as a baby, ended up with a yellow lip.

Great concept written over 3 years ago
I was eager to buy this when I first saw it, b/c it was so interesting- and fun-looking. But so far, I enjoy it more than my daughter does…. I hope that she’ll become more interested in it as she gets older and wants to throw the rings onto the floating platform. Right now she just takes the rings and wears them on her wrist as bracelets!

Good idea, poor execution written over 3 years ago
I love this company’s toys, but this one is a dud. It’s a great concept, and the construction is sturdy… but the end result is very disappointing. First of all, it tends to want to collapse forward unless you are on a 100% flat surface. The bell doesn’t ring. And more often than not, the balls don’t roll the way they’re supposed to b/c of the very delicate balance you have to achieve to set up the stand. It’s too bad. I really wanted to love this toy! But my daughter only likes to roll or throw the balls, which are solid wood and not to be thrown!

Adorable toy written over 3 years ago
My daughter enjoyed this clutching toy. At first, she just grasped it and mouthed it, but later on she got a kick out of the colorful elements. The only reason I don’t give it a full 5 stars is that it doesn’t make as much sound as you’d think. But it’s a great tactile and visual toy.
